LinkedIn adds new features for Company Pages

The new features are ‘Post Templates and Clickable Links’, ‘Pinned Comments’, and ‘Page Commitments’. Post templates were earlier available for individual profiles only. Pinned comments is self-explanatory. Page commitments allows organizations to showcase their most important values.

Advertisers pull out as Twitter struggles with child pornography issues on the platform

Child pornography on the platform has become a big problem for Twitter and this issue has been in the news earlier this month. Now, some major brands are ending their ad campaigns on Twitter as their promotions appeared alongside tweets soliciting child pornography. Twitter is working closely with the advertisers to investigate and deal with the matter.

YouTube test improved comment removal notifications among other things

New comment removal system will link users to the exact policy that they violated that got their comment removed. Multiple violations will disable the user to post comments for up to 24 hours. YouTube is also testing to highlight more relevant hashtags in video clips.

Meta tests new features for Call Ads

An important feature being tested is the ‘Callback’ option which will allow visitors to request a call back from you if you missed the initial call. Other features include measuring Call Ads performance with Ads Manager, better targeting of Call Ads, etc.
