Twitter allows users to schedule up to 10 Spaces in advance

Up to 10 Spaces can be scheduled 30 days in advance. While Twitter allowed scheduling of a Spaces, but now multiple Spaces can be scheduled simultaneously.Takeaway: User can benefit from integrating Spaces into their social media strategy as Twitter appears keen to make the same successful.

Twitter announces expansion of Birdwatch

Birdwatch is a crowd-sourced fact-checking program launched by Twitter to counter misinformation. Users can apply to become Birdwatchers and can highlight information which appears to be misleading by providing additional context for it. The timing of the move is interesting as the US mid-term elections are drawing nearer. Takeaway: While the move is announced with good intentions, the program can also veer out of control and turn into a headache for Twitter. It will be interesting to see how its story pans out.

Reddit announces minor changes to its Feed UI

Separate feed tabs are going away in favor of a drop-down menu to access ‘Home’, ‘Popular’, and ‘New’ feeds. This move is part of a larger UI change plan from Reddit which will cover the following areas: ‘Feed Architecture’, ‘Feed Expansion’, and ‘Feed Performance’.
